Configuration Steps
Step-by-Step Setup

Navigate to Connectors, select NEW, and choose Exchange On Premises as the connector type.
Set Basic Settings
Set a descriptive connector name and select Mail as the service type. Click NEXT to proceed.

Choose Authentication Method
Select one of three authentication types: Impersonation, Delegation, or Self Service.
Internet Accessibility Required
Authentication Methods
Impersonation
Requires a migration account with impersonation rights to access all users. This is the most efficient method for large-scale migrations.
Best for: Organizations with centralized admin control and proper impersonation configuration.
Delegation
Requires a migration account with Full Access permissions to each target mailbox. Each mailbox must grant access to the migration account.
Best for: Environments where impersonation isn't available but you can assign Full Access permissions.
Self Service
Uses individual username and password credentials for each user. Users provide their own credentials via a self-service portal.
Best for: Hosted environments where impersonation or delegation access isn't available.
Special Circumstances
Hosted Exchange Environments
For hosted environments where impersonation or delegation access isn't available, use the Self Service option. This allows users to authenticate individually.
The platform provides additional guidance on "Self-Service Migration With Cloudiway" for this scenario.
