Error Messages

OneDrive account not found
User's mysite not found

These errors occur during file migration or preprocessing when the user's OneDrive cannot be located.

Root Causes

User lacks OneDrive account

The user has never accessed OneDrive, so it was never provisioned.

Incorrect email address

The source or target email address in the migration list is wrong.

OneDrive not licensed

User's Office 365 license doesn't include OneDrive for Business.

First Check

Before troubleshooting, verify the email address is correct for both source and target. The error message indicates whether the problem is in the source or target environment.

If OneDrive Doesn't Exist

Users without OneDrive accounts must have them created before migration:

  • Have the user log into OneDrive directly (fastest method)
  • Use PowerShell to pre-provision OneDrive for multiple users
  • Run Cloudiway preprocessing to trigger provisioning
