Overview

Lotus Notes contacts are stored locally on users' laptops. To enable migration, users must replicate their personal contacts into their mailbox database on the Domino server.

Synchronization Steps

Launch and Authenticate

Open the Lotus Notes Client and log in with your credentials.

Access Preferences

Navigate to the File Menu and select Preferences.

Enable Synchronization

In the Contact section, locate the Replication and Sync tab and enable "Synchronize Contacts."

Confirm Settings

Click OK to save your preference changes.

Initiate Replication

From the Tools Menu, select Replicate and Async All.

Open Replication Dialog

Click Open/Replication to access the replication interface.

Activate Contact Sync

Check the "Synchronize Contacts" checkbox in the replication dialog.

Execute

Click Start Now to begin the synchronization process.

After Synchronization

Once contacts are replicated to the Domino server, they will be available for migration to Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
