Root Cause

Email Does Not Exist or Is Misspelled

The email address configured in the platform either doesn't exist in your Google Workspace domain or contains spelling errors. This applies to both source and target email addresses in your migration list.

Common Causes

  • • Email address has a typo (e.g., "gmial.com" instead of "gmail.com")
  • • User account was deleted from Google Workspace
  • • User account was never created
  • • Wrong domain used (e.g., company.com vs company.org)

Solution

Verify Email Addresses

1

Check Google Admin Console

Log into the Google Admin Console and verify the user account exists in your domain with the exact email address.

2

Verify Spelling

Compare the email in your migration list character-by-character with the actual Google account email address.

3

Update Migration List

Correct the email address in Cloudiway and restart the migration for the affected user.

Bulk Verification

For large migrations, export your user list and compare it against your Google Workspace directory to identify any mismatches before starting the migration.
